HIDE is an independent leather brand built around a simple idea: beautiful objects should feel as considered as the spaces and lives they become part of.
Every HIDE piece begins as leather in the workshop and is cut, shaped and constructed by hand. Rather than following fast-moving trends, HIDE focuses on unusual silhouettes, thoughtful details and pieces that feel distinctive without needing to shout.
Small variations, natural markings and traces of the making process aren't hidden. They're part of what makes each piece individual.
This is leatherwork with a human hand still visible in it.
THE HIDE PHILOSOPHY
Less, but more considered.
HIDE takes a slower approach to design.
Instead of adding decoration simply for the sake of it, every line, opening, handle and detail has a purpose. The result is a collection that feels minimal from a distance but reveals more the closer you look.
We believe luxury doesn't have to mean perfection produced by a machine.
Sometimes luxury is knowing exactly who made something, how it was made, and that another one will never be completely identical.
DESIGNED DIFFERENTLY
HIDE doesn't begin with the question:
"What is everyone else making?"
It begins with:
"What would be interesting to make?"
That might mean building a handle directly through the body of a bag, experimenting with unusual construction methods, combining traditional leatherwork with another craft, or turning an everyday object into something unexpectedly sculptural.
The aim isn't to produce endless variations of the same handbag.
It's to keep exploring what leather can become.
SMALL-BATCH PRODUCTION
No warehouse. No mountains of stock.
HIDE is deliberately small.
Pieces are produced individually or in limited quantities, allowing more time to be spent on construction and finishing while giving the collection space to continually evolve.
Some designs may return.
Some may change.
Some may exist only briefly.
That is part of HIDE.

HIDE is created by Chloe, an independent maker with a love for unusual design, tactile materials and objects that feel a little different from everything else around them.
What began as an interest in leatherwork grew into a way of exploring shape, structure and craftsmanship by hand. Every piece is designed and made with a close eye on the details, from the way a handle sits in the hand to the way the leather folds, ages and changes with use.
HIDE isn’t built around mass production or chasing trends. It’s built around curiosity, experimentation and making things that feel personal.
There is one person behind the cutting, shaping, assembling, finishing, photographing, packing and sending.
So when you buy from HIDE, you’re not buying from a faceless production line.
